EERSTE BEELDEN: The Wind In The Willows in het London Palladium

Met veel genoegen tonen we je de eerste prachtige productiebeelden van Darren Bell, Marc Brenner en Helen Maybanks van de nieuwe musical The Wind In the Willows in het London Palladium.
In The Wind In The Willows schittert Rufus Hound als de onnavolgbare meneer Pad (Mr Toad), Simon Lipkin als Ratty, Craig Mather als Mole, Neil McDermott als Chief Weasel, met Denise Welch als Mrs Otter en Gary Wilmot als Badger (Das).
Gebaseerd op de geliefde klassieker van Kenneth Grahame, die al meer dan een eeuw generaties lezers betovert, is The Wind In the Willows naar het toneel vertaald door Academy Award-winnend scenarioschrijver en Downton Abbey-bedenker Julian Fellowes, samen met het met een Olivier Award bekroonde componisten- en tekstschrijversduo George Stiles en Anthony Drewe.
Deze uitgelaten komedie volgt de impulsieve meneer Pad, wiens onverzadigbare honger naar snelheid hem diep in de nesten werkt. Wanneer zijn geliefde huis wordt bedreigd door de beruchte Chief Weasel en zijn bende duistere Wild Wooders, moet Pad een gedurfde ontsnappingspoging wagen. Dit leidt tot een reeks hachelijke avonturen en een heroïsche strijd om Toad Hall te heroveren.
