Bardzo zabawna odsłona historii o Beatrycze i Benedykcie w reżyserii Christophera Luscombe’a, dopełniona wspaniałą, stylową scenografią Simona Highletta, fantastycznymi kostiumami, urzekającą muzyką Nigela Hessa i pełną energii choreografią Jenny Arnold. Umiejscowienie akcji tuż po I wojnie światowej okazało się strzałem w dziesiątkę – atmosfera nadchodzących zmian idealnie wpisuje się w treść sztuki. To czas łagodności, a zarazem pewnej figlarności; w powietrzu niemal czuć już nadciągającą erę szalonych chłopczyc. Najświeższe wieści z brytyjskich scen od 1999 roku.
