Christopher Biggins, Ruthie Henshall and Wendi Peters are announced as judges for the West End Bake Off 2018 being held on 19th May 2018.

Theatrical charity Acting For Others are to hold the West End Bake Off 2018 on Saturday 19 May 2018 in the grounds of St Paul's Church, Bedford Square London WC2E 9ED.

This years event is being held to co-incide with the wedding of His Royal Highness Prince Harry to Meghan Markle.

This year Christopher Biggins returns to the tents as head judge joining Ruthie Henshall and Wendi Peters to judge the cake creations of top West End shows.

Ruthie Henshall said today “I’m so thrilled to be judging for the first time in this year’s right royal West End Bake Off. Not only is it such a special event that brings the West End together, to celebrate the wedding of His Royal Highness Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on the same day, means it will be an extra special year. It’s also so wonderful to see that even after 8 shows a week the backstage teams and performers are able to find time to put effort towards raising money for Acting for Others.” This year the full line up of bakers are Mamma Mia!, The Play That Goes Wrong, The Phantom Of The Opera, Les Misérables, Book Of Mormon, Chicago, The Mousetrap, Chess, Young Frankenstein, 42nd Street, Hamilton, Strictly Ballroom, Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Witness For The Prosecution, H.R.Haitch, The Comedy About A Bank Robbery, The Great Gatsby.

The event is free for members of the public to attend, with judging beginning at 10.30, and the winners will be announced at 11am, when the Bake Off will be declared open for the public to buy cakes, signed posters and mingle with cast and crew from the shows. There will also be up close magic, The Royal Theatrical Fund choir and a tombola with the chance to win tickets to hit West End shows.

For those unable to attend the event, Acting for Others can still be supported by donating at its Just Giving page.
