Mischief Theatre Company are taking to the road for the Mischief Movie Night UK Tour which will bring their improvised movie live on stage to an open air theatre near you.

Mischief Theatre Company are taking to the road for the Mischief Movie Night UK Tour which will bring their improvised movie live to an open air stage near you.

The original cast and creators of The Play That Goes Wrong have announced a mini UK tour of Mischief Movie Night, the improvised movie live on stage.

On the company’s return to the stage, Mischief said: “Since the pandemic has struck it’s been very difficult to plan any theatre so we’re presenting a piece of theatre that is entirely unplanned… what could possibly go wrong?"

Mischief Movie Night comes to an open air theatre near you direct from the West End where it was nominated for a 2018 Olivier Award as Best New Comedy.

Starring the original cast and creators of West End smash hits, The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery, and whose television fame on prime time BBC One includes A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong and Peter Pan Goes Wrong, The Mischief Movie Night cast includes Henry Lewis as Not Sure, Bryony Corrigan as Uncertain, Dave Hearn as No Idea, Nancy Zamit as Don’t Know Yet, Henry Shields as Couldn’t Tell You, Harry Kershaw as TBC, Ellie Morris as Who Knows, Jonathan Sayer as ??? Mike Bodie as Guess Who, Niall Ransome as Unknown and Joshua Elliott as We’ll have to see. They will be joined onstage by musicians Yshani Perinpanayagam, Richard Baker, Jordan Clarke and Ed Zanders.

Mischief Movie Night invites the audience to direct the action: you suggest a genre, location and title and a movie is brought to life on stage, complete with rewinds, fast forwards, directors cuts and a live score. Starring them, directed by you, Mischief Movie Night is a guaranteed comedy blockbuster!

Mischief Movie Night is created by Mischief Theatre, with set designs by Tony award-winning Nigel Hook and lighting by David Howe. Adam Meggido is the improvisation consultant. Mischief Movie Night is produced by Kenny Wax Ltd, Stage Presence Ltd and Mischief Theatre Ltd.
