West End Live 2019 - Programação dos Espetáculos Anunciada

O West End Live terá lugar na Trafalgar Square, em Londres, nos dias 22 e 23 de junho de 2019. Este evento totalmente gratuito celebra o melhor do teatro do West End e assinala este ano a sua 15.ª edição.

O West End Live deste ano contará com a participação de novos espetáculos atualmente em cena no West End, incluindo o vencedor do Olivier Award de Melhor Musical Come From Away, Only Fools and Horses, Waitress, 9 to 5 the musical, Fiddler On The Roof e Magic Mike Live, entre muitos outros. Estas novidades atuam lado a lado com favoritos de longa duração, como Les Miserables, The Phantom Of The Opera e Disney's The Lion King.
O West End Live também dará um gostinho de alguns dos próximos espetáculos prestes a estrear, incluindo o musical pop shakespeareano & Juliet, On Your Feet - the Gloria Estefan musical, a produção de Jesus Christ Superstar do Regent's Park Open Air Theatre e Heartbeat Of Home, dos produtores de Riverdance.
O West End Live é um evento totalmente gratuito, sem bilhete, que atrai dezenas de milhares de fãs. O evento é organizado e produzido pelo Westminster City Council e pela Society Of London Theatre.
Julian Bird, Diretor-Executivo da SOLT e da UK Theatre, afirmou: “Depois de mais um ano recorde para a indústria teatral de Londres, é fantástico voltar à Trafalgar Square e dar continuidade à nossa parceria com a City of Westminster para mostrar o talento e a criatividade extraordinários de tantas produções de topo do West End. Em mais nenhum lugar os fãs de teatro têm a oportunidade de ver atuações ao vivo exclusivas dos seus espetáculos preferidos – e tudo de forma gratuita.”
