Bill Bailey: Vaudevillean tickets and regional UK dates

Bill Bailey brings Vaudevillean to UK venues, a live comedy show celebrating the variety tradition that preceded radio, cinema and television. He draws on stand-up, multi-instrument performance and multilingual material to position himself as a contemporary practitioner of that broad entertainment form.

The vaudeville premise

Vaudeville was built on comedy, songs and varied skills aimed at the widest possible audience. Bailey uses that tradition as the framework for an evening that moves through showbiz stories, city life and stranger subject matter, all in the spirit of variety's ambition to amuse and amaze.

His multilingual ability and command of multiple instruments sit naturally within that format, adding the kind of unexpected novelty that variety entertainments were built around.

Audience considerations

The show is described as family entertainment intended to appeal across a broad audience. No specific age guidance or running time is published for any of the listed venues, so it is worth contacting your chosen venue directly if either matters to your booking decision.
