What is Frozen the Musical about?
Based on the record-breaking Disney film, Frozen the Musical tells the story of two sisters, Elsa and Anna, in the kingdom of Arendelle. When Elsa's secret power to create ice and snow is revealed, she flees to the mountains, inadvertently trapping the kingdom in an eternal winter. Anna sets out on a journey to find her sister and save their home, joined by the rugged mountain man Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, and the loveable snowman Olaf.
Why see Frozen the Musical in London?
The West End production features stunning stage effects that bring Elsa's ice magic to life in ways the film cannot. The moment Elsa transforms during "Let It Go" is theatrical spectacle at its finest. The show includes all the beloved songs from the film plus new numbers written for the stage by the original songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. The production design, costumes, and puppetry (Sven and Olaf are brought to life by incredibly skilled puppeteers) make this a visual feast for all ages.
Is Frozen suitable for children?
Frozen is one of the best family shows in the West End. Children aged 4 and above will enjoy the story, the music, and the spectacular staging. The show runs approximately two hours and twenty minutes including an interval. Younger children should be comfortable sitting for that duration. The themes of sisterly love, self-acceptance, and courage are positive and age-appropriate.

For more Disney magic on the West End stage, The Lion King offers breathtaking puppetry and music. Matilda the Musical is another family favourite with a strong female lead. For younger children, The Smartest Giant in Town and Room on the Broom offer shorter, gentler theatrical experiences.
