Gregory Porter performs live at Swansea Building Society Arena on his 2027 UK tour. Find tickets for the two-time Grammy winner's jazz and soul concert.
Two-time Grammy Award winner Gregory Porter opens his 2027 UK tour at Swansea Building Society Arena. His sound draws on Southern Gospel, jazz and soul, shaped by a California upbringing and years performing in New York City.
Porter began singing in jazz clubs while studying at San Diego State University on a football scholarship, later moving to New York City to pursue music. His mother's Nat King Cole record collection and the Southern Gospel sounds of his California upbringing are cited as formative influences on his style.
Early albums Water and Be Good established his critical reputation. Liquid Spirit brought international recognition and a first Grammy Award, while Take Me To The Alley secured a second, cementing his standing as one of the defining jazz artists of his generation.
