Professor Brian Cox's Emergence World Tour covers cosmology, biology and philosophy on giant LED screens. Book tickets for Swansea and Edinburgh now.
Professor Brian Cox returns with Emergence, described as his most ambitious live show yet, following his previous Horizons tour. Working with scientists, musicians, filmmakers and graphic artists, Cox brings cosmology, biology, philosophy and history to large-scale LED screens with high-specification sound and lighting.
Horizons, Cox's previous world tour, reached close to half a million audience members globally. Emergence takes on a wider intellectual range, drawing together cosmology, biology, philosophy and history into a single live event shaped by a broad creative team including scientists, musicians, filmmakers and graphic artists.
Cox has described the production as using the largest and most advanced LED screens available for live touring, alongside what he considers the best sound and lighting he could find. He has said he hopes the show offers something new to anyone with an interest in science, music, history or the natural world.
Under-16s are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. At the Swansea Building Society Arena, one performance carries a captioned designation, providing on-screen text captions for D/deaf and hard-of-hearing audience members.
