About the show

From the Edinburgh Fringe to global phenomenon, Six transforms Henry VIII's six wives into a 21st-century girl group at the Vaudeville Theatre. This pop-concert musical gives Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard and Catherine Parr the chance to reclaim their crowns and tell their stories through chart-worthy anthems. Winner of multiple WhatsOnStage Awards and Olivier-nominated for Best Musical.

What is Six the Musical about?

Six reimagines the six wives of Henry VIII as a pop group competing in a sing-off to determine whose life story was the most tragic. Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard, and Catherine Parr each make their case through a pop anthem inspired by modern music icons. What begins as a competition becomes something more powerful: a reclamation of their stories from a history that defined them only by their relationship to one man.

Why see Six?

Six is a phenomenon. Created by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss while they were students at Cambridge, the show has become a global sensation with a score that sounds like a pop concert. Each of the six numbers is a genuine banger (No Way from Anne Boleyn, Don't Lose Ur Head, and Six from Catherine Parr are particular highlights), and the live band and choreography create energy that has the audience on their feet by the end. The show runs just 75 minutes with no interval: it is pure concentrated theatrical adrenaline.
