Paddington the Musical Cast Recording Gets Release Date

The original cast recording of Paddington the Musical has confirmed its release dates, with the album dropping digitally on 10 April 2026 — brought forward due to popular demand.

Recorded at Abbey Road

The recording was made with a full orchestra at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, featuring vocals from the complete West End cast. It has been arranged, orchestrated and produced by Matt Brind, with music and lyrics by Tom Fletcher.

Physical formats including vinyl, CD, and Yoto editions will follow on 22 May 2026, released through Decca Records.

A Record-Breaking Musical

Paddington the Musical is currently running at the Savoy Theatre and booking until 30 May 2027. The stage adaptation, based on Michael Bond's A Bear Called Paddington, features a book by Jessica Swale and is directed by Luke Sheppard.

The production has been a critical and commercial hit, winning nine WhatsOnStage Awards, the Critics' Circle Award for Best New Musical, and earning 11 Olivier Award nominations. It is produced by Sonia Friedman Productions, StudioCanal, and Eliza Lumley Productions.
