St James Studio

I stayed there from 2024-2025, and I am pleasantly surprised by the service, especially from Sophie, whom I contacted most of the time. When issues arrive, they are quick to fix or respond to my messages or any inquiries I had. Just a heads up, if you're planning to stay for the summer as well, I suggest a room on the upper floors, where you can open the windows fully, since the room can get hot sometimes during the summer. The rooms are fully soundproof, so it's quite hard to hear activities from your neighbors; it's a good plus. No issues with bugs, everything was clean and from what I remember, there's rarely any fire-alarm test so its very non-intrusive. I would definitely live here again since it was amazing. As a suggestion, maybe the team could promote social events for the future?

I had a great time at St James Studios. Such a great place for a student to stay; I was really warmly welcomed by the Atha team. Sophie and Paul are amazing. I definitely recommend it for any one who is looking out for a place to stay in Middlesbrough!

I have stayed at St James Studios for a year and my stay there has been great. I couldn't have been more comfortable. The studios are lovely, spacious and clean and the building is in a excellent location. The owners are very efficient in helping you with anything and I thank Sophie for helping me with anything I needed and for replying so quickly to emails. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to everyone!

Stayed here for 3 years. It is one of the safest places to stay in Middlesbrough since they have CCTV's everywhere. I would recommend St James Studios to everyone. Honestly I would have stayed here until my retirement but unfortunately I got a job in another city. Do not hesitate, the people (Jack, Thomas, Sophie) are EXTREMELY NICE. They really care about their tenants and fix any issues. I'd give them 10 stars if I could..
