Our new cast announcement has the full line up.

Announcing the new cast, producers Sonia Friedman and Eliza Lumley said: "We know this wonderful company will make the show their own and continue to create magic on stage at the Savoy Theatre."

What makes the show such a hit?

Based on A Bear Called Paddington by Michael Bond and the Paddington film, the musical has music and lyrics by Tom Fletcher, a book by Jessica Swale and direction by Luke Sheppard. It is produced by Sonia Friedman Productions, STUDIOCANAL and Eliza Lumley Productions on behalf of Universal Music UK.

The production won seven Olivier Awards in 2026, including Best New Musical, a record breaking night we covered in our report on the seven Olivier Award wins. It also collected nine WhatsOnStage Awards.

Is the bear travelling anywhere else?

Yes. Away from London, the musical is set to open at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney in September 2027, its Australian premiere. Read more in our Sydney premiere report.

What should families know before they go?
