The Band's Visit y Harry Potter and the niño maldito son los grandes triunfadores de los Premios Tony 2018.

Los Premios Tony ya han terminado por este año, y los grandes ganadores son Harry Potter and The Cursed Child y The Band's Visit.
The Band's Visit, un musical sobre unos músicos egipcios varados en un pequeño pueblo israelí, se llevó 10 premios, incluido el de Mejor musical nuevo.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child sigue siendo un auténtico fenómeno internacional, llevándose seis Premios Tony, entre ellos Mejor obra nueva y Mejor dirección de una obra.
Andrew Garfield y Nathan Lane se llevaron sendos Tony por sus interpretaciones en la producción de Angels In America del National Theatre.
Glenda Jackson, de 82 años, culminó un regreso triunfal a Broadway tras 30 años con el Tony a Mejor actriz en una obra.
Robert De Niro dejó la sala enmudecida cuando soltó dos veces la palabra "fuck" en una diatriba contra el presidente Trump mientras presentaba a Bruce Springsteen.
