Nagrody Tony 2017: Lista zwycięzców

Galeria sław Broadwayu rozbłysła wczorajszej nocy (11 czerwca), gdy w Radio City Music Hall odbyła się ceremonia wręczenia nagród Tony 2017. Wieczór poprowadził Kevin Spacey, a bezapelacyjnym triumfatorem okazał się musical Dear Evan Hansen, który zdobył aż sześć statuetek, w tym tę najbardziej pożądaną – dla najlepszego musicalu. Z kolei Hello Dolly! z Bette Midler w roli głównej zgarnęło cztery nagrody, wliczając w to tytuł najlepszego wznowienia musicalu. W kategoriach dramatycznych triumfowała sztuka Oslo z dwiema statuetkami (w tym za najlepszy spektakl). Brytyjskim akcentem był sukces Nigela Hooka, który odebrał nagrodę za najlepszą scenografię za pracę przy The Play That Goes Wrong. Cytat wieczoru należał jednak do Bena Platta, zdobywcy nagrody dla najlepszego aktora w musicalu, który w swoim przemówieniu przypomniał: „to właśnie te rzeczy, które czynią cię dziwnym, dają ci największą siłę.”
