Hamilton Extends West End Booking Until 2 October 2027

Producers Jeffrey Seller and Cameron Mackintosh have announced that the West End production of Hamilton will extend booking at the Victoria Palace Theatre until 2 October 2027. The news follows a sold-out season featuring Broadway's original Aaron Burr, Leslie Odom Jr.

Current London company

The present company is led by Stephenson Ardern-Sodje as Alexander Hamilton and Yeukayi Ushe as Aaron Burr, with Bente Mulan as Eliza Hamilton, Georgina Onuorah as Angelica Schuyler, Akmed Junior Khemalai as George Washington, Ashley J. Daniels as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Bellinfantie as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison, Shak Mancel James as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton, Jasmine Jia Yung Shen as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds and Daniel Boys as King George III.

Why the extension matters

Hamilton remains one of London's most in-demand musicals, with book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and direction by Thomas Kail. Extending into autumn 2027 gives visitors and locals a longer planning horizon for what is still a difficult ticket at peak dates.

Still one of London's hardest tickets

Since opening at the Victoria Palace Theatre, Hamilton has remained a staple of visitor itineraries and a regular on British Theatre's bestseller lists. The show's through-composed score, turntable staging and dual casting of Lafayette/Jefferson and Mulligan/Madison continue to reward repeat visits, while first-timers still face competition for weekend evenings and school-holiday weeks.

Extending booking to 2 October 2027 does not mean every date will stay easy. Peak saturdays and the weeks around public holidays tend to sell first. Midweek performances and earlier 2027 months are usually the smarter place to start if you want a wider choice of price bands.

Should you book?

If you have a 2027 London trip in mind, the new booking window is the moment to lock in dates. Compare seats and prices on the Hamilton show page and book official tickets while the extended season is on sale.
