One Day

One Day at the Garrick Theatre stars Jamie Muscato as Dexter Mayhew and Sharon Rose as Emma Morley. They are joined by Dan Buckley as Ian, Dougie Carter as Callum, Anna-Jane Casey as Alison Mayhew, Ross Dawes as Mr. Godalming, Christopher Dickins as Stephen Mayhew, Kelly Hampson as Sylvie, Jennifer Louise Jones as Miffy and Romona Lewis-Malley as Tilly. Vanessa Fisher and Ewan Murphy are in the ensemble, and Rosalía Morales and Tom Mussell are understudies. Jamie Muscato is not scheduled to perform on Wednesday 16 December 2026 or from Tuesday 23 to Sunday 28 February 2027. Casting can change for individual performances.

One Day the Musical is based on the novel by David Nicholls, with a book by David Greig, music and lyrics by Abner and Amanda Ramirez and additional material by Jeremy Sams. It is directed by Max Webster, with choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille. Nigel Lilley is musical supervisor, musical director and co-arranger, Rae Smith is set and costume designer, Bruno Poet is lighting designer, Simon Baker is sound designer, Lewis den Hertog is video designer, Carole Hancock is wigs, hair and make up designer and Simon Hale is orchestrator. Casting is by Stuart Burt CDG, with Ingrid Mackinnon as intimacy director, Barbara Houseman as voice coach and Chris Hay as production manager.

The associate team is Amy Milburn (associate director), Michael Naylor (associate choreographer), Sam Hall (associate musical director and keyboard programming), Charlotte Henery (associate set and costume designer), Warren Letton (associate lighting designer) and Charlie Simpson (associate sound designer).
