Nominaties voor de Olivier Awards 2019 bekendgemaakt

De nominaties voor de Olivier Awards 2019 zijn bekendgemaakt. De uitreiking vindt plaats op 7 april in de Royal Albert Hall.

De genomineerden voor de Olivier Awards 2019 werden vandaag onthuld door de winnaars van vorig jaar, Sheila Atim en Giles Terera.

De nieuwe musical Come From Away en de gender-geflipte herneming van Company voeren de lijst aan met elk negen nominaties. Ze worden op de voet gevolgd door de epische enscenering van The Inheritance, die met acht nominaties de overstap maakte van de Young Vic naar het Noel Coward Theatre. Het National Theatre is goed vertegenwoordigd met vier producties, waaronder The Lehman Trilogy, Home, I'm Darling, Nine Night en Antony and Cleopatra.

De ceremonie van dit jaar wordt gepresenteerd door Jason Manford en vindt plaats op 7 april 2019 in de Royal Albert Hall.
