Ogłoszono nominacje do tegorocznych Olivier Awards, których gala odbędzie się 7 kwietnia w prestiżowej Royal Albert Hall.

Znamy już listę szans na statuetki Olivier Awards 2019 – ogłosili ją dziś zeszłoroczni laureaci, Sheila Atim oraz Giles Terera.

W wyścigu o nagrody przodują nowy musical Come From Away oraz głośne wznowienie musicalu Company z zamianą płci głównych bohaterów – oba tytuły zdobyły po dziewięć nominacji. Tuż za nimi, z ośmioma nominacjami, plasuje się epicka inscenizacja The Inheritance, która po sukcesie w Young Vic przeniosła się na deski Noel Coward Theatre. National Theatre ma powody do dumy dzięki czterem nominowanym produkcjom: The Lehman Trilogy, Home, I'm Darling, Nine Night oraz Antony and Cleopatra.
