Pantomime Favourite Returns to Maidstone for the 2025 Festive Season
The Hazlitt Theatre has announced that Caitlin Garcia will play Alice Fitzwarren in its in-house pantomime production of Dick Whittington & His Cat, running from 29 November to 31 December 2025.

Garcia, a graduate of The Urdang Academy, has previously appeared in Jack and the Beanstalk (Buxton Opera House), Gypsy the Musical (Savoy Theatre), and Pollyanna (Aria Entertainment). She joins a returning panto team that includes Joe Meloy, Sarah Rose Denton, and Christopher Chandler, alongside Eleanor Sandars as the villainous Rat Queen.
“I absolutely love the magic of panto, and can’t wait to bring the fun to Maidstone!” said Garcia.
Celebrating a Milestone Year
This year marks two major anniversaries: 70 years of the Hazlitt Theatre, and a decade since the venue began producing its own pantomimes in-house. Dick Whittington & His Cat is expected to be the theatre’s biggest festive production yet.
Over 6,000 tickets have already been sold, and audiences are encouraged to book early. To celebrate, the theatre is offering £1 off all tickets booked before 31 August, including peak dates.
