The production marks the first ever UK tour of Patricia Highsmith’s psychological thriller and coincides with the 70th anniversary of the novel’s publication.
Following recent screen adaptations, including the 2000 Oscar-nominated film and the 2024 Netflix series, this fresh theatrical take is directed and adapted by Mark Leipacher for The Faction.

About the Production
Set against the sun-drenched backdrop of 1950s Italy, The Talented Mr Ripley follows a young con artist sent to bring back the wealthy and carefree Dickie Greenleaf. But as Tom is drawn into Dickie’s glamorous world, admiration turns into obsession—and a chilling descent into deception, identity theft and murder.
This stage version promises psychological intensity and razor-sharp tension, spotlighting one of literature’s most enigmatic antiheroes.
