A Global Theatrical Phenomenon

Since its world premiere in London in April 2018, TINA – The Tina Turner Musical has been seen by over eight million people worldwide. The production has broken box office records at the Aldwych Theatre and has expanded globally with productions on Broadway, in Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Australia, and a new Brazilian production opening in February 2026.

This final West End season marks the end of an era for the longest-running production ever to play at the Aldwych Theatre.

A Celebration of a Music Icon

Created in association with Tina Turner herself, the musical tells the inspirational story of the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll—from her humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee to her global stardom. The show features some of her most iconic hits including “Proud Mary,” “What’s Love Got to Do with It,” “River Deep, Mountain High,” “We Don’t Need Another Hero,” and “The Best.”

The show is directed by Phyllida Lloyd, written by Katori Hall with Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins, and choreographed by Anthony van Laast. Set and costume design are by Mark Thompson, with musical supervision by Nicholas Skilbeck.
