Final Performance at the Aldwych Theatre Set for September 2025

The producers of TINA – The Tina Turner Musical have announced that the hit West End production will end its run at London’s Aldwych Theatre on Saturday 13 September 2025, bringing to a close more than seven triumphant years in the capital. Since premiering in April 2018, the musical has broken all box office records at the Aldwych and secured its place as the longest-running show ever at the venue.

Developed in close collaboration with Tina Turner herself, the show has become one of the West End’s most celebrated musicals, charting the life and legacy of the legendary performer from her early days in Tennessee to her rise as the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

A Legacy of Global Success

The London production is part of a global phenomenon that has seen 10 first-class productions launched around the world, including runs on Broadway, in Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Australia, and now Brazil in 2026. The show’s first UK and Ireland tour, which opened in March 2025, is currently playing to sell-out audiences nationwide.

Over 8 million people worldwide have seen the musical, and the London production remains one of the top 10 longest-running musicals currently in the West End.

Producers Reflect on Tina’s Enduring Message

Producer Tali Pelman of Stage Entertainment said:

“The decision to close our West End production has been extremely difficult. Celebrating and sharing Tina’s legacy has meant so much to all of us. We are proud to have fulfilled Tina’s dream for the musical—to serve not only as a reminder of her work but as the beating heart of her empowering message: courage, indomitable spirit, and eternal optimism in what is possible.”

From 24 June 2025, Karis Anderson and Fleur East will alternate the title role in the lead-up to the final performance, continuing the legacy of powerful women who have brought Tina’s story to life on the Aldwych stage.

A Musical Celebration of a Cultural Icon

TINA – The Tina Turner Musical tells the story of the music legend’s life and career through her iconic songs, including:

  • “River Deep – Mountain High”

  • “We Don’t Need Another Hero”

  • “What’s Love Got to Do with It”

The production’s global reach and critical acclaim have made it one of the most successful artist-led musicals of the past decade.
