Lịch sử về Bridge Theatre

The Bridge Theatre, inaugurated in 2017, stands as a testament to modern theatrical innovation in London. Founded by Nicholas Hytner and Nick Starr under the London Theatre Company, it is the first new theatre of its scale in London's commercial sector in 80 years. Designed by architects Steve Tompkins and Roger Watts of Haworth Tompkins, the 900-seat auditorium offers a flexible space adaptable to various performance styles, from traditional end-stage to immersive promenade formats. Since its opening, The Bridge has been dedicated to commissioning and producing new works, while also reimagining classic pieces, featuring renowned talents such as Maggie Smith, Ben Whishaw, Laura Linney, Ralph Fiennes, and Gwendoline Christie. Its strategic location near Tower Bridge and commitment to artistic excellence have solidified its reputation as a cultural landmark in London's vibrant theatre landscape.
