The Olivier-nominated international hit The Choir of Man has announced a new Happy Hour experience at London’s Arts Theatre, offering audiences live music and 20% off drinks ahead of select performances. Running for four weeks from Thursday 24 July, Happy Hour will take place in the venue's foyer between 5.30pm and 6.30pm before evening shows.

The series begins with a live acoustic guitar set from Rob Godfrey, who currently plays ‘Beast’ in the West End cast. On 31 July, the event will feature a collaboration with the team behind The Room Where It Happens, a popular London musical theatre bar. Additional acts are expected to be announced via the show’s social channels.

Producer Nic Doodson shared:

“It’s a great way to connect, enjoy a drink and enjoy some live music before the show starts. We’re looking forward to sharing more summer evenings of music, joy and community.”

A West End Favourite with Global Reach

Set in a fictional pub known as The Jungle, The Choir of Man blends uplifting choral harmonies, foot-stomping singalongs, tap dance, and heartfelt monologues. Its jukebox score includes songs by Queen, Adele, Sia, Luther Vandross, Paul Simon, Guns N’ Roses, and more.

Since opening at the Arts Theatre in October 2021, the show has welcomed over 280,000 audience members across more than 1,000 performances, following prior sell-out seasons at the Sydney Opera House, international tours, and a successful Fringe run. It received an Olivier nomination for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play and has partnered with organisations including suicide prevention charity CALM and Signature Brew, now the show’s official alcohol-free beer partner.
