National Theatre Production Opens in July with Live Cinema Broadcast to Follow

The National Theatre has released first-look rehearsal images for the upcoming world premiere of Inter Alia, a new play by Suzie Miller, best known for her international hit Prima Facie. The production will star Rosamund Pike as Crown Court Judge Jessica Parks and will run at the Lyttelton Theatre from 10 July to 13 September 2025, with a press night on Wednesday 23 July.

Directed by Justin Martin (Stranger Things: The First Shadow), Inter Alia is a powerful exploration of motherhood, modern masculinity, and the strains of balancing personal and professional responsibilities at the highest levels.

A Complex Portrait of a Woman in Power

Pike plays Jessica Parks, a compassionate and commanding judge at the peak of her career. While leading reform in the courtroom by day, she is also a devoted wife, mother, and karaoke enthusiast behind the scenes. But when a sudden event threatens to upend her carefully balanced life, Jessica must confront how much she can hold together.

The play marks Miller’s National Theatre debut and reunites her with director Justin Martin, following their previous collaboration on Prima Facie, which earned widespread acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic.
