In addition to the long-running West End production, the show has toured to 42 countries and was adapted into two record-breaking films: Mamma Mia! (2008) and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018), starring Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan, and Cher.

The UK tour is produced by Judy Craymer, Richard East, and Björn Ulvaeus for Littlestar in association with Universal Music Group and NGM.
