Ralph Fiennes and Miranda Raison to Lead West End Premiere of Grace Pervades

David Hare’s New Play Opens at Theatre Royal Haymarket in April 2026
Olivier and Tony Award-winning actor Ralph Fiennes will reunite with director Jeremy Herrin for the West End premiere of David Hare’s new play, Grace Pervades, opening at Theatre Royal Haymarket from April 2026. He will star opposite Miranda Raison in this much-anticipated limited season.
Tickets will go on sale from mid-September 2025.
A Powerful Portrait of the Victorian Stage
Grace Pervades tells the extraordinary true story of Henry Irving and Ellen Terry, two of the greatest actors of the Victorian stage, and their children Edith Craig and Edward Gordon Craig, both of whom would go on to make pioneering contributions to British theatre.
The play explores themes of fame, legacy, art, and personal conflict within one of the most fascinating theatrical dynasties in British history.
Acclaimed Creative Team
The production is directed by Jeremy Herrin, whose recent West End credits include Best of Enemies, People, Places and Things, and The Glass Menagerie.

A Fiennes-Led Season Continues
Grace Pervades was originally developed as part of the Ralph Fiennes Season at Theatre Royal Bath. Other productions in that season include:

Small Hotel by Rebecca Lenkiewicz, directed by Holly Race Roughan and starring Fiennes and Francesca Annis
