Le Brighton Fringe annonce les lauréats des prix 2017

Production d'Urinetown par le Brighton Little Theatre

Les spectacles et les performeurs remarquables du Brighton Fringe de cette année ont été annoncés lors des prix annuels du festival.

Parmi les 24 prix décernés, les lauréats incluent la production de la comédie musicale Urinetown par The Brighton Little Theatre Company (en photo), Ingo's War de Ditto Theatre Company, Bug Camp de Paul Macauley par Broken Silence Theatre et la production d'Agamemnon de Steven Berkoff par Windmill Young Actors.

Le spectacle pour enfants The Tale of the Cockatrice par Mumblecrust Theatre a remporté deux prix – le prix Voice du meilleur nouvel arrivant au Brighton Fringe et l'IYAF : Meilleur spectacle pour enfants et famille du Brighton Fringe.

Parmi les autres gagnants Cinebra: A History of Horror, qui a remporté 2 500 £ pour une tournée dans un festival Fringe international dans le cadre du Pebble Trust International Touring Award.

Teatro Pomodoro a également gagné l'opportunité de tourner à l'étranger. La compagnie, qui faisait partie du programme Brighton Fringe Window pour les créations exceptionnelles, a été sélectionnée pour tourner dans deux réseaux Fringes “nordiques” de Bergen, Göteborg, Reykjavik et Stockholm l’année prochaine.
