I Premi Olivier 2015 si sono svolti questa sera alla Royal Opera House di Londra.

Presentata da Lenny Henry, la serata è stata dominata dallo Young Vic e da Sunny Afternoon.

La produzione dello Young Vic di A View From The Bridge ha vinto per Miglior ripresa, Miglior attore e Miglior regia, mentre Sunny Afternoon ha conquistato il premio per Miglior nuovo musical, Miglior attore, Miglior attore non protagonista e Riconoscimento speciale per la musica.

Dame Angela Lansbury ha ricevuto il suo primissimo Olivier Award come Miglior attrice non protagonista.

The Play That Goes Wrong ha fatto vincere a Mischief Theatre il premio per la Miglior commedia.

Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, Memphis e City Of Angels hanno vinto due premi ciascuno.

La serata si è conclusa con una toccante interpretazione di Bridge Over Troubled Water cantata da Kevin Spacey e Beverley Knight. A Spacey è stato appena assegnato lo speciale Olivier Award per il suo lavoro nell’ultimo decennio all’Old Vic.
