Os Prémios Olivier 2015 realizaram-se esta noite na Royal Opera House, em Londres.

Apresentada por Lenny Henry, a cerimónia foi dominada pelo Young Vic e por Sunny Afternoon.

A produção do Young Vic de A View From The Bridge venceu Melhor Reposição, Melhor Ator e Melhor Encenação, enquanto Sunny Afternoon conquistou Melhor Novo Musical, Melhor Ator, Melhor Ator Secundário e Realização de Excelência em Música.

Dame Angela Lansbury recebeu o seu primeiro Prémio Olivier de sempre, na categoria de Melhor Atriz Secundária.

A peça The Play That Goes Wrong valeu à Mischief Theatre o prémio de Melhor Comédia.

Beautiful – The Carole King Musical, Memphis e City Of Angels arrecadaram dois prémios cada.

A noite terminou com uma sentida interpretação de “Bridge Over Troubled Water” por Kevin Spacey e Beverley Knight. Spacey acaba de receber o Prémio Olivier especial pelo seu trabalho na última década no Old Vic.
