Drama Desk Awards 2020 - Elenco completo dei vincitori

The Inheritance, A Strange Loop e Moulin Rouge sono tra i grandi vincitori della 65ª edizione dei Drama Desk Awards, svoltasi virtualmente nel weekend.

La 65ª edizione dei Drama Desk Awards si è tenuta in forma virtuale il 13 giugno, celebrando il meglio di Broadway, Off-Broadway e Off-off-Broadway in una stagione 2019-20 ridotta.

Tra i grandi vincitori di quest’anno c’è stato il musical vincitore del Premio Pulitzer A Strange Loop di Michael R. Jackson, che si è aggiudicato cinque premi, tra cui Miglior Musical, Miglior libretto di un musical e Migliori testi. Il premio come Miglior attore protagonista in un musical è andato alla star Larry Owens, mentre quello come Miglior regia di un musical è stato assegnato a Stephen Brackett di Strange Loop.

Anche Moulin Rouge! The Musical e la pièce di Matthew Lopez The Inheritance, che ha vinto come Miglior spettacolo di prosa, hanno conquistato cinque premi ciascuno.

Little Shop Of Horrors e A Soldier's Play hanno vinto rispettivamente come Miglior revival di un musical e di uno spettacolo di prosa.

Adrienne Warren ha vinto come Miglior attrice in uno spettacolo di prosa per Tina! the musical, ruolo che ha interpretato per la prima volta quando lo show ha debuttato nel West End di Londra.  Laura Linney ha vinto per la Miglior performance solista grazie al suo lavoro in My Name Is Lucy Barton, che ha portato anche al Bridge Theatre di Londra.
