Drama Desk Awards 2020 – Här är alla vinnare

The Inheritance, A Strange Loop och Moulin Rouge hör till de stora vinnarna vid den 65:e upplagan av Drama Desk Awards, som hölls digitalt i helgen.

Den 65:e upplagan av Drama Desk Awards avgjordes virtuellt den 13 juni. Priserna hyllar det bästa från Broadway, Off-Broadway och Off-off-Broadway under den förkortade säsongen 2019–20.

En av årets stora vinnare var den Pulitzerprisbelönade musikalen A Strange Loop av Michael R. Jackson, som tog hem hela fem priser, däribland Bästa musikal, Bästa libretto och Bästa sångtexter. Huvudrollsinnehavaren Larry Owens prisades som Bästa manliga skådespelare i en musikal, och Stephen Brackett utsågs till Bästa regissör för sitt arbete med Strange Loop.

Moulin Rouge! The Musical och Matthew Lopez pjäs The Inheritance kammade också hem fem priser vardera, där den sistnämnda utsågs till Bästa pjäs.

Little Shop Of Horrors utsågs till Bästa nyproduktion av en musikal, medan A Soldier's Play tog hem motsvarande pris för talteater.

Adrienne Warren vann priset för Bästa kvinnliga skådespelare i en musikal för sin insats i Tina! The Musical, en roll hon gjorde redan vid världspremiären i Londons West End.  Laura Linney vann för Bästa soloframträdande i My Name Is Lucy Barton, en föreställning hon även spelat på Bridge Theatre i London.
