Danielle Fiamanya and Louis Gaunt lead the cast in new adaptation by Rona Munro

Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre has confirmed the full cast for its highly anticipated new production of Lerner and Loewe’s classic musical Brigadoon, which runs from 2 August to 20 September 2025, with press night on Monday 11 August at 7.45pm.

Directed and choreographed by Drew McOnie in his first production as Artistic Director of the theatre, this will be the first major London revival of the show in over 35 years. The new adaptation by acclaimed Scottish playwright Rona Munro promises to transport audiences to the misty Highlands with a fresh perspective on the legendary romantic tale.

A Dreamlike Journey to the Highlands

Set in a mythical Scottish village that appears for only one day every hundred years, Brigadoon follows WWII fighter pilots Tommy and Jeff as they stumble upon the enchanted town and become entangled in its fate. Featuring timeless songs such as “Almost Like Being in Love,” “The Heather on the Hill” and “Waitin’ for My Dearie,” the musical remains one of Lerner and Loewe’s most beloved works.
