2020年地下剧场节奖项揭晓

伦敦 Vault Festival 2020 Awards 年度奖项今日公布获奖名单。

原定于今天闭幕的艺术节因新冠疫情影响提前一周结束。主办方创办人 Mat Burtcher 与 Andy George，以及戏剧与表演负责人 Bec Martin-Williams 没有举行颁奖典礼，而是通过社交媒体公布了 Vault Festival 2020 Awards 的得主。

观众选择奖（People’s Choice Award）由《Stages: A Video Game Musical》夺得，作品由 Chris Czornjy 编剧、Adam Lenson Productions 制作。该剧于 3 月 3 日至 8 日在 Vault 上演，音乐剧明星 Anna Jane Casey 与 Andrew Langtree 联同 Aitch Wylie、Max Alexander-Taylor 同台出演。

创新奖（Innovation Award）颁给 Quietly Fighting Theatre 的场域特定沉浸式作品《The Grim》（2 月 4 日至 16 日），演出将观众变成受雇于“死神办公室”的自由职业“收割者”。

深夜奖（After Dark Award）表彰深夜节目中表现最出色的作品，由《Séayoncé’s Comedy Vault》获得——这是一档由 Daniel Wye 与 The Good Witch 呈现的喜剧、歌舞酒馆与变装演出，被形容为“酷儿卓越与灵性俏皮交织的一夜”。

精神奖（Spirit Award）颁给最能体现艺术节“创意、协作与善意”精神与理念的团队，由 Plaster Cast Theatre 的《Sound Cistem》（1 月 29 日至 2 月 6 日）获得；这是一场“酷儿庆典”与“舞池派对”，挑战以顺性别视角凝视跨性别身体的方式。

此外还设有每周奖项：本周最佳演出（Show of the Week）以及表彰杰出新作的 Origins Award。完整获奖及提名名单见下。

在 1 月 28 日至 3 月 15 日为期七周的艺术节期间，超过 2,700 位艺术家带来 519 部不同作品，为逾 73,000 名观众呈现演出；其中不包含本周因故未能上演的 97 部作品。

今年艺术节呈现了更多由女性、有色人种、残障人士、LGBTQ+ 艺术家以及工人阶级创作者主导的作品。

Burtcher 表示：“对每个人来说，这都是非常艰难又令人害怕的时刻，但我们仍希望抽空庆祝并肯定那些在 Vault Festival 2020 中付出许多努力、带来精彩演出的团队与作品。”

Martin-Williams 也补充道：“尽管我们对提前闭幕感到非常心碎，但我们依然认为，这些在八周档期中的七周里呈现作品、让人们相聚的杰出艺术家与团队值得被看见，并为他们令人赞叹的成就喝彩。”
