Nomineringerne til Tony Awards 2018 er offentliggjort

Den fulde liste over nomineringer til Tony Awards 2018 blev offentliggjort i dag, hvor musicalerne SpongeBob SquarePants og Mean Girls fører feltet an, mens adskillige britiske navne og produktioner også er flot repræsenteret.

Tony Awards-ceremonien den 10. juni vil blive præsenteret af Sara Bareilles og Josh Groban.

For de britiske fans er det værd at bemærke, at National Theatres opsætning af Angels In America har sikret sig hele 11 nomineringer (det mest nominerede skuespil i Tonys historie), mens blockbusteren Harry Potter and the Cursed Child fik ti nomineringer.

Den britiske musicalstjerne Gavin Lee blev desuden nomineret for bedste mandlige hovedrolle i en musical.
