Les nominations pour les Tony Awards 2018 sont annoncées

La liste complète des nominations pour les Tony Awards 2018 a été annoncée ce matin, avec SpongeBob SquarePants le musical et Mean Girls en tête d’un groupe qui a vu plusieurs nominations décernées à des artistes et productions britanniques.

La cérémonie des Tony Awards du 10 juin sera animée par Sara Bareilles et Josh Groban.

Pour les Britanniques, la production de Angels In America du National Theatre a remporté 11 nominations (la pièce la plus nommée de l'histoire des Tony) et le blockbuster Harry Potter and the Cursed Child a obtenu dix nominations.

La star britannique de la comédie musicale Gavin Lee a décroché une nomination pour le Meilleur Acteur dans une Comédie Musicale.
