Annunciate le Nomination per i Tony Awards 2018

L’elenco completo delle candidature ai Tony Awards 2018 è stato annunciato questa mattina, con SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical e Mean Girls in testa a un gruppo che ha visto diverse nomination andare a interpreti e produzioni britanniche.

La cerimonia dei Tony Awards, in programma il 10 giugno, sarà presentata da Sara Bareilles e Josh Groban.

Per i britannici, la produzione del National Theatre di Angels in America ha conquistato 11 nomination (la pièce più candidata nella storia dei Tony), mentre il kolossal Harry Potter and the Cursed Child ne ha ottenute dieci.

La star britannica del musical Gavin Lee ha ricevuto una nomination come Miglior attore protagonista in un musical.
