2018년 토니상 후보 발표

제72회 토니상(2018) 후보 전체 명단이 오늘 아침 발표됐습니다. ‘SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical’과 ‘Mean Girls’가 최다 후보를 이끌었고, 영국 배우와 영국 프로덕션에도 여러 부문에서 후보 지명이 이어졌습니다.

6월 10일 열리는 토니상 시상식은 사라 바렐리스와 조시 그로번이 진행합니다.

영국 팀의 성과도 눈에 띄는데요. 내셔널 시어터의 ‘Angels in America’는 11개 부문 후보에 올라(토니 역사상 최다 후보에 오른 연극) 존재감을 과시했고, 대작 ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’는 10개 부문 후보를 기록했습니다.

영국 뮤지컬 스타 개빈 리(Gavin Lee)도 뮤지컬 남우주연상 후보에 올랐습니다.
