الإعلان عن المرشحين لجوائز ديسك 2019 الخاصة بالمسرح

أُعلنت اليوم ترشيحات جوائز «دراما دِسك» لعام 2019، وتصدّرت قائمة الترشيحات نسخة الإحياء من «أوكلاهوما!» بحصولها على 12 ترشيحاً.

يقود دامون داونو (كَرلي) وآمبر غراي (لورَي) بطولة إعادة القراءة التجريبية التي يقدّمها المخرج دانيال فيش لمسرحية رودجرز وهامرستاين الموسيقية «أوكلاهوما!». الصورة: كوري ويفر. تُمنَح جوائز «دراما دِسك» للأعمال المعروضة على برودواي وخارج برودواي (Off-Broadway) وخارج خارج برودواي (Off-Off Broadway). وسيُقام حفل هذا العام في «ذا تاون هول»، نيويورك، في 2 يونيو/حزيران 2019.

وجاء كلٌّ من «توتسي» و«Rags Parkland Sings the Songs of the Future» بعد «أوكلاهوما!» بحصولهما على 11 ترشيحاً لكل منهما.

أما عروض «Hadestown» و«Torch Song» و«Choir Boy»—وجميعها قُدِّمت سابقاً خارج برودواي في مواسم سابقة—فلم تكن مؤهلة إلا في الفئات التي رأى المُرشِّحون أن فيها عملاً جديداً.

وقد حظيت أعمال «Be More Chill» و«What the Constitution Means To Me» و«Oklahoma!» و«The New One» بعروض خارج برودواي وعلى برودواي في الموسم نفسه، لذا جرى النظر إلى الإنتاجين معاً عند احتساب الترشيحات.

ويصوّت على جوائز «دراما دِسك» نقّاد المسرح والصحافيون والمحررون والناشرون والمذيعون.

وإلى Repertorio Español لتقديمه على مدار العام ربرتواراً متناوباً من المسرحيات الإسبانية الجديدة والكلاسيكية في مقره الحميم بمنطقة غرامرسي. وعلى مدى 51 عاماً، ظل Repertorio مسرحاً لا غنى عنه للجمهور الناطق بالإسبانية، وفي الوقت نفسه دعا روّاد المسرح غير الناطقين بالإسبانية إلى اكتشاف متعة الكانون الإسباني، وقدّم لجمهور نيويورك أعمال ممثلين مثل Zulema Clares وGermán Jaramillo.
