Drama Desk Awards 2019: Her er de nominerede

Nomineringerne til Drama Desk Awards 2019 er blevet offentliggjort i dag, hvor genopsætningen af Oklahoma! fører an med hele 12 nomineringer.

Drama Desk Awards tildeles forestillinger på Broadway, Off-Broadway og Off-Off Broadway. Årets ceremoni finder sted i The Town Hall i New York den 2. juni 2019.

Tootsie og Rags Parkland Sings the Songs of the Future fulgte efter Oklahoma! med hver 11 nomineringer.

Opsætninger af Hadestown, Torch Song og Choir Boy, som alle spillede Off-Broadway i tidligere sæsoner, var kun valgbare i kategorier, hvor juryen vurderede, at der var tale om nyt indhold.

Produktionerne af Be More Chill, What the Constitution Means To Me, Oklahoma! og The New One spillede alle både Off-Broadway og på Broadway i samme sæson, hvorfor begge opsætninger blev vurderet samlet i nomineringerne.

Drama Desk Awards afgøres af teaterkritikere, journalister, redaktører, udgivere og radio- og tv-folk.
