Les nominés des Drama Desk Awards 2019 annoncés

Les nominations pour les Drama Desk Awards 2019 ont été annoncées aujourd'hui, avec la reprise de Oklahoma! en tête avec 12 nominations.

Photo : Cory Weaver Les Drama Desk Awards sont remis aux spectacles sur Broadway, Off-Broadway et Off-Off Broadway. La cérémonie de cette année aura lieu au Town Hall, New York, le 2 juin 2019.

Tootsie et Rags Parkland Sings the Songs of the Future ont suivi Oklahoma! avec 11 nominations chacun.

Les productions de Hadestown, Torch Song et Choir Boy, toutes ayant eu des représentations off-Broadway lors des saisons précédentes, n'étaient éligibles que dans les catégories où les nominateurs ont estimé qu'il y avait du nouveau.

Les productions de Be More Chill, What the Constitution Means To Me, Oklahoma! et The New One ont toutes eu des représentations Off-Broadway et Broadway dans la même saison, donc les deux productions ont été considérées ensemble pour les nominations.

Les Drama Desk Awards sont votés par des critiques de théâtre, des journalistes, des rédacteurs, des éditeurs et des diffuseurs.
