Nominasjonene til Drama Desk Awards 2019 er klare

Nominasjonene til Drama Desk Awards 2019 er nå offentliggjort, og nypremieren på Oklahoma! leder an med hele 12 nominasjoner.

Drama Desk Awards tildeles forestillinger på Broadway, Off-Broadway og Off-Off Broadway. Årets seremoni vil avholdes i The Town Hall, New York den 2. juni 2019.

Tootsie og Rags Parkland Sings the Songs of the Future fulgte like bak Oklahoma! med 11 nominasjoner hver.

Oppsetningene av Hadestown, Torch Song og Choir Boy, som alle har spilt off-Broadway i tidligere sesonger, var kun valgbare i kategorier der juryen mente det var snakk om nyskapende arbeid.

Produksjonene Be More Chill, What the Constitution Means To Me, Oklahoma! og The New One har alle spilt både Off-Broadway og på Broadway i samme sesong, så begge versjonene ble vurdert samlet for nominasjonene.
