Nominace na Drama Desk Awards 2019 zveřejněny

Nominace na ceny Drama Desk Awards pro rok 2019 byly dnes oznámeny, přičemž v čele pelotonu stojí revival muzikálu Oklahoma! s celkem 12 nominacemi.

Ceny Drama Desk se udělují inscenacím na Broadwayi, Off-Broadwayi i Off-Off Broadwayi. Letošní slavnostní ceremoniál proběhne 2. června 2019 v newyorské The Town Hall.

Těsně v patách za Oklahomou! se s 11 nominacemi umístily tituly Tootsie a Rags Parkland Sings the Songs of the Future.

Inscenace Hadestown, Torch Song a Choir Boy, které v předchozích sezónách běžely mimo Broadway, byly letos způsobilé pouze v kategoriích, kde porotci uznali přínos nové tvůrčí práce.

U děl jako Be More Chill, What the Constitution Means To Me, Oklahoma! a The New One, která se v rámci téže sezóny uváděla na Broadwayi i scénách Off-Broadway, byly obě verze posuzovány společně.

O držitelích cen Drama Desk rozhodují divadelní kritici, novináři, editoři, vydavatelé i rozhlasoví a televizní tvůrci.
