2019年ドラマ・デスク・アワード候補者発表

2019年ドラマ・デスク・アワードのノミネートが本日発表され、リバイバル版『Oklahoma!』が最多となる12部門にノミネートされました。

デイモン・ダウノ（カーリー）とアンバー・グレイ（ローリー）が、演出家ダニエル・フィッシュによるロジャース＆ハマースタインの『Oklahoma!』を実験的に再構築した舞台に出演。写真：Cory Weaver　ドラマ・デスク・アワードは、ブロードウェイ、オフ・ブロードウェイ、オフオフ・ブロードウェイの公演を対象に授与されます。今年の授賞式は2019年6月2日、ニューヨークのタウン・ホールで開催されます。

『Tootsie』と『Rags Parkland Sings the Songs of the Future』は、それぞれ11部門ノミネートで『Oklahoma!』に続きました。

『Hadestown』『Torch Song』『Choir Boy』はいずれも過去シーズンにオフ・ブロードウェイで上演されていたため、ノミネーターが「新たな創作がある」と判断した部門のみが対象となりました。

『Be More Chill』『What the Constitution Means To Me』『Oklahoma!』『The New One』は同一シーズン内にオフ・ブロードウェイとブロードウェイの両方で上演されたため、ノミネート審査では両プロダクションをまとめて扱われました。

ドラマ・デスク・アワードは、演劇批評家、ジャーナリスト、編集者、出版社、放送関係者の投票により決定されます。
